Fire dams are perfect for containing pot melts, castings and thick fused work. The advantage to dams is they are adjustable to the size piece you wish to make. Be sure to use fiber paper against the dams to prevent your work from bonding to them. Dimensions are 12"(l) x 1" (w). The thickness may vary (no less than 1/2" and no greater than 5/8").
