Steel Rebar is used for reinforcing larger leaded glass panels.

It is important that if installed horizontally, the rebar must be captured by the window molding when the panel is installed. If this is not done, the rebar will not provide the proper support as intended.

The bar can be tinned and soldered to the joints on the window, or wire can be soldered to the joints and wrapped around the rebar.
