For years beveled glass has been used to create beautiful windows. The sparkle of the bevels and the wonderful rainbows they create as light passes through them cannot be matched.

Originally all beveled glass was made by hand, sometimes with glass that contained lead and enhanced the refraction. Older bevel were made from thicker glass and had a very steep angle to optimize the effect.
Currently these machine made bevels are made from 3/16" glass with less of an angle to the bevel. Even so, they still provide the beauty one expects from beveled glass, just at a much reduced cost.
Try them out for other projects like boxes and suncatchers, there is no limit.
