A three hour workshop, $100In this beginner-friendly, 3-hour workshop, you will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of stained glass patterns to create your own curiosity! Options include a bird skull, gemstone, flower, sea shell, and a butterfly wing. You will learn the copper foil method as well as how to enhance your piece through decorative soldering techniques, wire and enamel accents, and finishing with patina. Your final piece will be prepared to be displayed within a provided glass dome, making for a perfect addition to any collection or shelf!:
• Using stained glass tools and equipment safely and correctly
• Copper-foil method
• Solder, wire, and enamel accents
- Most materials will be included (if you want a specific glass not provided, you can buy it here).
- Basic glass tools will be provided, but if you have your own favorite tools, please bring them with you.
- Kids aged 12 - 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Shilo Criswell is a stained glass artist and high school art teacher in Mesa, Arizona with a passion for sharing the beauty of glass work with others. With experience guiding students in creative exploration, Shilo specializes in combining traditional stained glass techniques with a modern, approachable style. Her teaching focuses on building strong foundations in craftsmanship while encouraging students to discover their own artistic voice. Shilo’s dedication to both education and the art of stained glass makes each class welcoming, inspiring, and hands-on.
