Frames With Kimberly
Create a one-of-a-kind frame for your favorite photo! Participants will create a unique fused glass frame sized for a 5" × 7" or 4" × 6" picture—perfect for showcasing a special memory! This class is great for all experience levels and makes a fantastic gift or a cheerful addition to your home. All tools and materials needed are included. We’ll discuss which frame styles work best for this project and how to determine the correct glass measurements for any frame. Starting with a clear glass base, you’ll build up your design using sheet glass and playful enhancements like vitrigraph, dots, frit, and stringers. Your finished piece will be full fused and adhered to a wooden frame in your choice of white or black. Frames will be ready for pickup within two weeks and can be used immediately—just add your photo and enjoy!

Meet the Instructor: Kimberly Ferm
Kimberly Ferm is a Phoenix-based fused glass artist whose appreciation for glass art blossomed over a decade ago during a visit to Murano, Italy. As a retired teacher, she blends her love of art by educating students about different glass fusing techniques. Through accessible, hands-on learning and clear instruction, students will actively develop their knowledge while growing their creativity and understanding. She is an instructor who makes every class relaxed, inspiring and fun!
