Description
Technical Information
Techniglass 7/32" x 22 yards 1.25mil Copper Foil
Techniglass has designed a high-quality copper foil in a compact format for a comfortable and ergonomic grip. The color-coded core allows for instant identification of the foil width, adding to the convenience and efficiency of use.
Copper Backed Foil: Use this for artwork projects that require copper patina and where clear glass is used
Not only is it eye-catching and practical with a zip closure; the special vapor-barrier aluminum zip pouch with a moisture-adsorbing desiccant ensures the foil cassette remains fresh and long-lasting.
A further advantage is that unused foil can be re-sealed and stored in the zip pouch, effectively preventing moisture from entering and minimizing oxidation.
Classic Variety of Backing Colors is available in three different backing colors: silver, copper, or black. Selection of a backing color is usually based on the finished color of solder that will be used to obtain a cohesive look for your art object. This attention to detail is especially important for clear glass projects.
NOTE: This foil is compatible with the Techniglass Foiler (part #
TG-F-Foiler Kit)
Easy Identification for Beginners and Experienced Artists
Each FOILER CASSETTE CORE and TIP feature a bright color corresponding to the copper foil width for easy recognition. THE FOIL features a visual system that facilitates the identification of the correct size, addressing the confusion that other foils may cause for both novice and seasoned artists. In contrast, unlabeled cores necessitate an additional step of manually marking the size with a label or marker.
High Tack Adhesive Adheres to Glass Surface
THE FOIL Cassette offers an ultra-adhesive tack, ensuring effortless application and a secure bond that won?t lift during your project.
Resistant to Tearing
The thickness of THE FOIL plays a crucial role in its resistance to tearing. Thicker foil offers enhanced strength and durability, making THE FOIL less prone to tearing during use. This increased thickness is especially important when wrapping corners, enabling continuous and trouble-free foiling.
COMPACT SIZE for Easy Hand Foiling
THE FOIL?s ergonomic design ensures a comfortable fit in your hand, allowing for effortless maneuvering around glass pieces.
