When you want to take off a lot of material quickly, the 3/4" Speed bit from Aanraku does the trick. There is a lot of chipping due to the coarse nature of the bit, so if you want a cleaner edge, leave a little room to use a finer bit to finish up with. Also, the smaller size works well for tight a tight radius or smaller pieces.
