Need to make a thicker masterpiece without overflowing? Try a stainless steel dam from Big Glass Molds. This dam will help you to make an 8 inch x 8 inch glass piece up to 1 inch thick. These dams are made in America and are ready for use after applying boron nitride spray.

This dam is a fixed size large enough to include fiber paper below and inside and still make that 8 inch x 8 inch pattern bar or raked piece.
This stand is constructed with 1/8 inch thick, 1" tall stainless steel for a sizable piece.
