Start this 6-week journey into the world of leaded stained glass with Gerry. 6 session of 2 hours each covers the basics of stained glass.
Perfect for beginners - no experience needed! Choose from instructor-provided patterns and create your own leaded stained glass window, edged with a zinc frame, and equipped with handy hangers for easy display. Master the lead came process from pattern selection to finished product.
Note: Students are required to purchase their glass before the second class. A list of required tools will be provided, and these tools will also need to be purchased by the student.
Gerry Mahoney is a stained glass artist based in Phoenix who also loves (and tends) roses. Prior to SW Art Glass, Gerry was trained in stained glass work in Duluth, Minnesota and worked/taught at the Stained Glass store on the west side of Phoenix for several years. Gerry is always eager to share techniques and hints with new students as well as those who would like to brush up on their skills. Come join us and find out about "puddle and lift"!!!
